Government College Silphili, District- Surajpur Chattishgarh is an undergraduate college. The College was established by order of Chattishgarh Government on 25.07.2009 offering U.G. programmes in B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. College is permanently affiliated to Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya Sarguja Ambikapur.

Silphili is a small village in Surajpur block of Surajpur district. It is 25 km away from district headquarter Surajpur and 15 km away from Sarguja divisional headquarter Ambikapur. Silphili is well connected by Rail and road. The railway station is known as Kamalpur Gram is just behind our college campus. Railway route is Anuppur-Ambikapur branch line. The college is situated on N.H.-43 in the valley of Pilkha Hill.The college is situated between railway track and N.H.

The college is situated in the tribal belt and majority of students come from tribal and other backward classes. Pando tribe is inhabited in this area. This tribe isadopted by our first President Bharat Ratan Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Apart of our campus is situated in Pandonagar Panchayat area. There is a Rashtrapati Bhawan in Pandonagar village where our first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad stayed one night.  Rashtrapati Bhawan was built in his honour.
